on bellies.

christian women would never pose for pictures with their entire stomach exposed (except maybe in a bathing suit but even then its usually a tankini) so why do they feel the need to take pictures of their pregnant belly and show it to the world? i only say christian women because they are the ones that want to be "modest." is it that if you are taking pictures of your pregnant belly its okay because its "cute" instead of "sexy?" do guys not get turned on by pictures of pregnant women?

i don't mind the side view, my shirt is covering, look how big i am kinds. but i'm talking about the, i'm laying here with my button-up shirt open with my whole fat pregnant belly hanging out. now, if you want these types of pictures for home and your personal use, fine. but do i have to see them on the internet? i'm sorry, pregnant bellies sort of freak me out. as a woman who's never been pregnant, i think this is somewhat natural. the whole outtie belly button and stretch marks. its scary, people.

now if and when i am pregnant, i will be taking full nudes. i think this makes it beautiful art and not some picture that people are confused if i'm trying to be provocative or precious. and no, i won't be posting them on facebook/the internet. they will be beautiful (well, depending on how fat i am) and for me and my husband (if i have one). i don't think any kid wants to see their mother naked so... thats it. well, i mean if someone else wanted to see them and there is no direct exposure, i'd probably show them. ANYWAY, the point is... you won't be subjected to seeing my naked pregnant belly hanging out everywhere.

on that note: i think it would be sort of fun to have a pregnant belly. not a pregnant belly without a baby (fat) or even a pregnant belly with a baby (ew, babies) but they seem kind of like a good excuse to not have to suck in your gut for 9 months.

on other note: no, i am not pregnant.
