Barca, barca, baaarca!

well i had my first real futbol (soccer) experience. the other night me and some friends decided to go see FC Barcelona play Sevilla. it said in the papers it'd be an important match but none of us really know anything about futbol. well when we got there, i tried to get our tickets -- 6 together. well first off, my spanish is not that good, there was a huge line, and the lady was not being very helpful. so we could only get 3 together and 3 separate (who wants to sit alone?). so it ended up just being me and my friend kiki who went. 

well, turns out our seats weren't together either but in the process for looking for them, we got harassed by a group of young spanish men who had 2 empty seats in front of them. the guy next to the seats spoke english and said they were his friends and that we could sit there. thank god. haha.

the game was fun even though we didn't know what was going on. the british guy next to us helped a bit. they get crazy over their teams here so all in all it was a good time. DESPITE the fact that no one scored! (which i imagine would be the best part) however, i found out that we played them previously and tied 1-1 and since we scored at their home, it counted for 2. so we (fc barcelona) are considered the winners...? yeah i dunno.

just been hanging out with my friends who are all really cool and our one spanish local friend who is nice enough to drive us home when the metro is closed! i went out the past two nights (which is no bueno when you have school in the morning) so i need a nap and a strong cafe before going out tonight!
