well i just wanted to let everyone know that i made it safe to barcelona. i had a whole post typed up on my computer about my awesome adventures but i am using the computer in our program´s office because i don´t get internet at my homestay (which i´m still praying to god for). so i am not going to recreate it, ill just have to wait and that way i can put up some new pics too. it will just be post dated. or something.
first night in my homestay was kind of rough because i was alone with a stranger lady who doesn´t speak english. the good news is that i have a roommate but she is just out of town now. my room is the size of my parents walk-in closet without the actual space to put my clothes. it will be an adjustment but it sounds like everyone is kind of in the same boat. which is nice. i just felt a little disconnected from the world!
so, i will post my previous post and some pics when i can get to a local mcdonald´s and get on the internet (lol).
barcelona is huge. i definitely have to learnhow to use the metro-- i did it all by myself this morning.
